Description

You will develop firmware for medical devices following IEC 62304 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-threaded applications using RTOS and C++ object-oriented design patterns.
• Implement software requirements and manage software risk.
• Execute board bring-up and interface with on-chip and off-chip peripherals.
• Debug and troubleshoot designs using logic analyzers, in-circuit emulators, oscilloscopes, and DVMs.
• Utilize static analysis and unit testing to maintain high software quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded microcontrollers.
• Experience with RTOS-based applications and multi-threading.
• Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with SPI, UART, I2C, ADCs, and DACs.
• Hands-on experience with waveform generation, transducer signal sampling, motor control, and electromechanical control.
• Experience using GitHub within a Continuous Integration (CI) environment.
• Ability to read and understand electronic circuitry.
• Degree in any technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
