Description

You will own the front-end development lifecycle for AEM Cloud Applications, from component creation to performance optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain front-end code for AEM Cloud Applications and Sites daily.
• Build and enhance AEM front-end components, dialogs, and client libraries.
• Implement UI behavior using JavaScript or TypeScript integrated with AEM components.
• Tune page performance using Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).
• Fix WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 AA accessibility issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on AEM development, focused on front-end/UI layers.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React, Angular, or Vue (React preferred).
• Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs from the front end.
• Proficiency applying CSS Grid, Flexbox, and responsive layout systems.
• Solid experience with modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel) and Node.js.
• Experience with CSS delivery techniques like critical CSS and code splitting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
