Description

You will lead the design and implementation of technical solutions within Adobe Experience Manager.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and customize AEM Assets features including metadata schemas, processing workflows, and governance models.
• Develop AEM components, templates, dialogs, and OSGi services.
• Extend AEM core functionalities through integration with third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance via dispatcher configurations, query optimization, and caching strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across author, publish, and dispatcher environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 8/11+), Java EE (JSP, Servlets), and OSGi (Apache Felix).
• Expertise in AEM architecture, including Apache Sling, JCR, and dispatcher caching.
• Deep knowledge of AEM components, static/editable templates, and Sling Models.
• Extensive experience with AEM Assets (DAM), including asset ingestion, metadata management, and renditions.
• Practical experience with Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Asset Collections.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with AEM’s CoralUI and GraniteUI libraries.
• Proficiency with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) for AEM Sites or Assets.
• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Integration experience with CRM, PIM, or E-commerce platforms.
