Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI solutions on Microsoft Azure for the insurance sector.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy RAG-based systems and AI agents using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• Design production-ready pipelines integrating Azure Machine Learning, Document Intelligence, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Develop predictive models for insurance workflows including risk scoring, fraud detection, and claims triage.
• Implement Responsible AI practices, ensuring bias assessment, explainability, and governance alignment with FCA expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers, validate engineering outputs against solution designs, and define reusable reference architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure AI Search.
• Proficiency in Python for building prototypes, debugging, and reviewing engineering output.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks: LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or Microsoft Prompt Flow.
• Strong understanding of insurance domain data (structured and unstructured) and workflows (underwriting, claims, policy administration).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for managing AI experiment tracking and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to interpret SQL and work with cloud data platforms like Databricks or Synapse.
• Knowledge of Azure security controls, including managed identities and private endpoints for AI workloads.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certifications: AI-102, DP-100, or AI-900.
• Experience with MLOps practices including model versioning, drift detection, and CI/CD for Databricks.
• Exposure to multi-modal AI pipelines for document and image processing.
