Description

Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale analytics solutions, delivering reports, semantic models, and assets using BI technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement semantic models adhering to star and snowflake schema practices.
• Deliver enterprise-scale reports and analytics assets using BI technologies.
• Lead technical workstreams and mentor junior engineers within agile environments.
• Translate complex technical data details into clear insights for business audiences.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on development with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Expertise in semantic modeling, dimensional data modeling, and advanced SQL.
• Proficiency with DAX, Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, and Python or R.
• Experience with data preparation using Alteryx, Power Query, or Tableau Prep.
• Familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Synapse.
• Experience implementing version control and code review using Git.
• Strong English communication skills for technical translation and data storytelling.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
• 3+ years tenure in previous roles demonstrating stability.
