Role Overview:

This role involves leading the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-scale Appian BPM applications and workflow automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining application architecture, technical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for Appian development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-scale Appian BPM applications and workflow automation solutions.
• Define application architecture, technical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for Appian development teams.
• Design and develop Appian components including SAIL Interfaces, Process Models, Records, Sites, Expression Rules, Decision Rules, Integrations, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, architecture assessments, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JDBC, Kafka, and platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Oracle.
• Analyze business processes, translate business requirements into BPM workflows, and drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders in Agile environments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support production environments by troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, optimizing application performance, and ensuring system scalability, security, and reliability.

Required Skills:

• Appian Platform Development & Architecture (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Sites, Appian Cloud)
• Business Process Management (BPM) & Workflow Automation
• Enterprise Integration Design (REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, Kafka, External System Integrations)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
