Description

You will lead the development, migration, and deployment of enterprise web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Java and Groovy applications to the latest IntelliJ IDEA and Grails versions.
• Update application-specific library dependencies to Grails-supported versions.
• Modify build systems to produce runnable jars for containerized execution.
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes and monitor for vulnerabilities using Veracode.
• Coordinate with security teams to resolve false positives and obtain production approvals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise web application development.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Groovy, and Grails.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience deploying applications to GCP or Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment and containerization.
• Competency with HTTP, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and MQ protocols.
• Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to use Veracode for vulnerability tracking.
