Description

You will lead the development, migration, and deployment of enterprise web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Java and Groovy applications to the latest IntelliJ IDEA and Grails versions.
• Update application-specific library dependencies to Grails-supported versions.
• Modify build systems to produce runnable jars for containerized execution across environments.
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes and track security vulnerabilities using Veracode.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, business analysts, and client personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Groovy, and Grails.
• Proficiency with the Spring Boot web application framework.
• Experience deploying applications to GCP and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Knowledge of HTTP, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and MQ protocols.
• Experience using Veracode to identify and manage false positives.
• Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
