Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS Lambda.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interactive IVR call flows using Amazon Connect and AWS Lambda.
• Design scalable serverless applications and backend integrations supporting contact center operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, JIRA user stories, and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to AWS best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, QA, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Application Development Engineer.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
• 7+ years of experience developing AWS Lambda functions.
• Strong experience building interactive call flows and integrating Amazon Connect with enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of IVR design, call routing, and telephony workflows.
• Experience creating and testing JIRA user stories.
• AWS Certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the healthcare domain or highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and AWS integration services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
