Description

Lead application design and integration engineering efforts.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee orchestration workflows using Kafka, Kubernetes, and Python.
• Lead integrations between Pisces and claims platforms (Amisys, Facets, ABS, Excelys).
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines, schema governance, and data contracts are scalable.
• Mentor developers, review code, and enforce engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with Kafka (schema registry, topic design, event-driven apps).
• Proficiency in Python for data jobs and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong background in claims processing systems or healthcare data integration.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
