Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and productionize AI services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, including request/response flows for LLM and tool-calling use cases.
• Build RAG and agentic AI solutions, including retrieval pipelines, prompt orchestration, and evaluation/monitoring hooks.
• Implement scalable data workflows and model-related pipelines in Databricks, including data preparation and feature/retrieval dataset generation.
• Integrate with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Anthropic APIs, handling authentication, rate limits, and robust error handling.
• Own system design for AI applications (APIs, data access, and performance considerations) and support deployment using CI/CD and containerization.

Skills Required:

• 7 - 10 years of experience building production AI/data systems and backend services
• Python (backend engineering, production services, and API development)
• Databricks (data pipelines and scalable workflow execution)
• FastAPI (building REST APIs, validation, and performance-aware request handling)
• System design and SQL for data access and retrieval workflows

Good to Have:

• Docker (containerization for AI services and reproducible deployments)

Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
