Description

You will own the design, development, and productionization of AI services, APIs, and data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize AI services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, handling LLM request/response flows and tool-calling.
• Develop RAG and agentic AI solutions, including retrieval pipelines, prompt orchestration, and evaluation/monitoring hooks.
• Implement scalable data workflows and model-related pipelines in Databricks for data preparation and feature dataset generation.
• Integrate with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Anthropic APIs, managing authentication, rate limits, and error handling.
• Own system design for AI applications and support deployment via CI/CD and containerization.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience building production AI/data systems and backend services.
• Expert-level Python for backend engineering, production services, and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data pipelines and scalable workflow execution.
• Proficiency in FastAPI for building REST APIs, validation, and performance-aware request handling.
• Strong system design skills and SQL expertise for data access and retrieval workflows.
• Experience integrating third-party LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic).

Preferred Skills

• Docker for containerization of AI services and reproducible deployments.
