Description

Lead end-to-end infrastructure assessments and define pragmatic roadmaps for cloud and IaC maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and artifact reviews to assess current-state IaC practices, including Terraform code, state management, and security controls.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions with platform, DevOps, and security teams to gather requirements and validate findings.
• Synthesize assessment data into maturity models, gap analyses, and prioritized, phased recommendations.
• Present executive-level readouts and actionable, business-aligned strategy to leadership.
• Validate technical recommendations with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure advisory.
• Deep expertise in Terraform, including advanced state management and module design.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their IaC implementations.
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure.
• Ability to conduct technical assessments and produce clear, structured gap analyses.
• Strong executive communication skills with experience facilitating cross-functional workshops.
• Experience working with security teams to embed controls into IaC workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining and executing multi-year infrastructure modernization roadmaps.
• Background in security architecture or DevSecOps integration within IaC.
