Key Skills: Playwright, Cypress, JavaScript, TypeScript, CI/CD, REST API Testing, SQL, Git, Agile, Scrum

Good to Have Skills: Mobile automation with Appium, performance testing, payroll or benefits or HRIS domain exposure, contract testing, observability of test suites, AI tooling in testing workflows for test generation and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own the automation strategy and design scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Playwright and Cypress with JavaScript.
• Build automation across web and API surfaces and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines to gate releases effectively.
• Set automation standards and best practices across teams and review other engineers' automation code regularly.
• Mentor QA engineers to strengthen their automation practices and technical capabilities in the field.
• Lead the implementation and use of AI tooling in testing including test generation, maintenance, failure triage, and coverage analysis.
• Work directly with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define comprehensive test strategy and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results and drive root cause analysis to resolution for identified issues and failures.
• Manage test data strategy, parallelization, reporting, and flakiness control within automation frameworks.

Experience Required: Substantial hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress, strong JavaScript engineering skills, demonstrated framework ownership, CI/CD integration experience, REST API testing and SQL knowledge, practical AI tooling usage, lead-level experience in setting standards and mentoring, and Agile or Scrum delivery experience
