Description

Lead the automation and manual testing efforts for the UISIm project, replacing legacy Unemployment Insurance systems. You will design test strategies, execute automated scripts, and manage defect lifecycles for a major government initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test artifacts including Test Strategy, Functional Test Plans, and Traceability Matrices.
• Create and troubleshoot automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Write SQL queries to verify table population and validate backend data processing.
• Lead automation team members and coordinate test execution across functional and acceptance testing phases.
• Report defects using HP ALM/QC, JIRA, and validate screens for ADA compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in automated and manual testing.
• 60 months of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• 60 months of experience writing SQL queries for data validation and test data creation.
• 48 months of experience using GitHub, Maven, and Jenkins within CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Eclipse IDE.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements to define test scenarios.
• Experience with SoapUI/Postman for API testing.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HP ALM/QC defect management tools.
