Description

Lead data engineering initiatives within the Amazon AWS ecosystem. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue and EMR.
• Develop scalable data processing applications with PySpark and Python.
• Manage real-time data streaming workflows using Kafka.
• Architect data solutions on the Amazon AWS platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS Glue.
• Deep experience with Amazon EMR.
• Proficiency in PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience implementing Kafka for data streaming.
• Direct experience working within the Amazon AWS ecosystem.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
