Description

You will lead cloud enablement across multiple AWS accounts and global engineering teams, owning the technical roadmap for scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in designing and optimizing AWS architectures with a focus on cost, security, and scalability.
• Build, maintain, and promote reusable cloud patterns, templates, and libraries for enterprise-wide use.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new cloud tools and reusable engineering patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and influence the technical roadmap.
• Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot critical issues when necessary.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud-native application development.
• Deep expertise in AWS services: RDS, EC2, Lambda, Containers (Fargate/ECS/EKS), VPCs, Peering, PrivateLink, IAM.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and observability tools (CloudWatch, DataDog, Splunk).
• Proven ability to build highly available, secure, and resilient applications in AWS.
• Understanding of DR/HA strategies and infrastructure resilience.
• Experience mentoring or coaching engineers in a leadership capacity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, in engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile SAFe methodology and enterprise product development practices.
