Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of data management and ETL solutions on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect AWS data solutions and manage large-scale migrations from on-premises and other platforms to the cloud.
• Design and demonstrate system architectures across different environments, covering both on-premises and cloud systems.
• Drive the development of well-architected applications and ensure quality is owned by the entire team.
• Identify code defects and performance bottlenecks using automation tools to address quality issues in product code.
• Translate business objectives into technical specifications using iterative agile patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation of analytics solutions.
• Deep understanding of Spark architecture, including Spark Core, Spark SQL, DataFrames, Spark Streaming, RDD caching, and Spark MLlib.
• Proficiency in programming with Scala and Spark.
• Experience with AWS data migration and solutioning.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including defining conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Expertise in Data Management and ETL processes.
• Ability to work with SQL and stored procedures.
