Description

You will lead application modernization and migration projects from on-premises environments to Azure.

Responsibilities

• Execute Azure application modernization projects and develop migration strategies.
• Define best practices for Azure solutions and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure application security and scalability.
• Assess existing infrastructure to improve reliability and performance.
• Mentor team members on Azure practices and troubleshoot complex application issues.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with 10+ years focused on cloud computing and Azure.
• Proven track record leading Azure application modernization efforts.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, and PowerShell.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Azure certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies or other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
