Description

Lead Azure infrastructure design, implementation, and support across enterprise environments while mentoring global engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce Azure architecture standards, security guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end design and deployment of Azure resources including compute, networking, identity, and storage.
• Spearhead cloud migration strategies and modernization of legacy systems.
• Own incident management, capacity planning, and performance optimization for Azure workloads.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Azure cloud engineering or architecture.
• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams (50-100+ people).
• Deep expertise in Azure Compute (VMs, AKS, App Services) and Networking (VNETs, NSGs, ExpressRoute).
• Strong knowledge of Azure Storage & Databases including Blob, Files, SQL, and CosmosDB.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
• Understanding of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, Policies, and Security Center.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or multi-cloud environments.
