Description

You will lead the architecture and management of critical Azure cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, session hosts, and FSLogix profile configuration.
• Design and maintain secure Azure networking topologies using VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Firewalls, and VPN gateways.
• Implement and enforce security controls via Azure AD, RBAC, and encryption standards.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Lead automation initiatives using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates while mentoring engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure and virtualization.
• Deep expertise in Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, Firewalls) and Security (Azure AD, RBAC).
• Proven experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix.
• Strong proficiency in Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM template automation.
• Experience with Azure storage solutions, specifically Azure Files and NetApp Files.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience configuring and tuning Azure Cache for Redis.
