Description

You will lead research into new technologies and recommend automation solutions for cloud environments across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Proof of Technology (PoT) implementations to drive technology recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to set up and configure desired cloud environments.
• Identify automation requirements and implement solutions to satisfy performance, reliability, and scalability standards.
• Manage system documentation and ensure service uptime meets established SLAs.
• Guide less experienced staff during the build and test phases of application components.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Deep expertise in Azure Fundamentals, Azure Security, and Azure Administrator tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD patterns and Terraform.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience using Jenkins for build and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Practical knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications.
• Bicep scripting knowledge.
