Key Skills: Microsoft Defender, Rbac, Azure, Sentinel, Active Directory (AD) Support, Windows, Powershell, Azure Devops, CICD

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS workloads with high availability and best-practice configuration.
• Own Windows Server (2016-2022) engineering lifecycle including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, ADFS, and related services.
• Lead OS hardening, patching compliance, and improvements to platform security posture.
• Implement security baselines and least-privilege RBAC, integrate detection/response with Sentinel, and support vulnerability remediation and compliance reporting.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management across the Wintel estate; provide expert troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation (runbooks, knowledge articles) and support internal/external audits for cloud and Wintel services.
• Serve as subject-matter expert and technical lead for strategic infrastructure projects and major incident resolution.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure IaaS, Azure PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory services.
• Experience with Azure AD, Entra ID, RBAC, conditional access, and identity/security management.
• Expertise in Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Defender for Cloud, and security operations.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation tools such as ARM, Bicep, and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
• Good understanding of networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and failover clustering concepts.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI, TLS hardening, and secure access practices.
• Familiarity with compliance and governance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and CIS benchmarks.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

Education: Any Graduation / Any Post Graduation (Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred)
