Lead Azure System Specialist

You will design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, storage, and load balancing services. You will own the system lifecycle for critical production workloads, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and harden Windows Server and RHEL operating systems in production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex OS-level issues including CPU, memory, disk, services, and kernel driver problems.
• Implement secure workload designs aligned with Zero Trust principles and organizational security standards.
• Define and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements for critical systems.
• Manage Azure storage solutions and perform VM sizing for SAP on Azure environments.

Required Skills

• 12-15 years of industry experience with 5-8 years specifically in Azure and 3-5 years in SAP Basis.
• Hands-on experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS services in production environments.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation and management.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Active Directory, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) or SAP certifications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Zero Trust security principles, and Azure FinOps.
