Description

Lead engineering teams to design and deliver complex, distributed software systems. You will own the release pipeline, from application design to automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams through technical decision-making and solution articulation.
• Design and develop high-performance backend applications and enterprise-grade APIs.
• Translate technical and business objectives into scalable software solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for architectural and process optimization.
• Manage end-to-end software development including application design and automated testing.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of software development experience.
• At least one year of experience in a formal team lead role.
• Expertise in JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in designing and constructing REST APIs using JSON.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems and relational databases.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design and algorithms.
• Practical experience working within Agile or rapid application development methodologies.
• Ability to solve ambiguous or under-defined technical problems.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Java, advanced design patterns, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, Kafka, or stream processing.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or networking and firewall technologies.
