Description

Lead the backend development team and drive the technical direction of long-term projects from ideation to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural approaches and select appropriate frameworks in collaboration with architects and product management.
• Plan technical tasks and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and team growth.
• Develop and deliver scalable web applications while managing service scalability challenges.
• Write thorough documentation and tests for all projects to maintain system integrity.
• Communicate technical progress and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional programming experience with Python.
• Proven experience as a lead backend developer on long-term projects using Django.
• Experience developing scalable web applications using SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Apache Spark, Redis, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
