Description

You will lead a backend engineering team to design, architect, and scale distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor backend developers while enforcing coding standards and conducting code reviews.
• Architect and develop high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Manage database design and optimization using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Drive cloud adoption and oversee DevOps practices including CI/CD and containerization.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to implement well-documented APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong database management skills with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of Git and Jira.
• Deep understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
