Description

Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and distributed architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, GraphQL, and REST.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Airflow.
• Develop serverless functions and microservices using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and database schema design.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Full-Stack or Backend Development.
• Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Kinesis, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with SingleStoreDB and Snowflake.
• Experience with MuleSoft, GraphQL, and Apache Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development using Swagger or Apigee.
• Proven ability to design and optimize database schemas.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming.
