You will design and architect backend systems for large-scale insurance and SMS messaging applications within retail campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect backend systems for insurance and SMS messaging projects.
• Lead technical decision-making and design processes for scalable systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Guide the backend development team on design and architecture best practices.
• Drive engineering standards for cloud-based systems focusing on performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in a lead role.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, performance, and scalability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience leading and mentoring backend engineering teams.
• Background working on retail campaigns or insurance projects.
