Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of digital platform components as a technical authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new functionality and applications within cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers and support groups.
• Solve complex application and infrastructure problems, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls.
• Drive application development focused on delivering business-valuable features and high-availability solutions.
• Perform integration and customer acceptance testing to ensure software accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing software applications in Java (or 5+ years with a Master's degree).
• Strong expertise in Java 11 backend development.
• Experience building RESTful web services.
• Proficiency with AWS services including IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API stack, SQS, SNS, and KMS.
• Experience writing SQL queries using Slick.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and high-availability architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with software architecture.
