Description

You will lead backend architecture and technical direction for a scalable platform in an early-stage environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Golang-based microservices, including API gateways, workflow orchestration, and AI agent connectors.
• Design scalable service architecture and make key infrastructure decisions.
• Integrate external systems using REST, gRPC, Webhooks, and open-source tooling.
• Implement secure, modular APIs for frontend and AI orchestration.
• Guide junior developers through code reviews and technical best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with at least 3 years focused on Golang.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and service-to-service communication.
• Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis for scalable data modeling.
• Knowledge of API security protocols including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience managing asynchronous workflows, queues, and background job processing.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations such as LLMs, vector stores, or ML APIs.
• Practical experience with GitOps or CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Ability to contribute to Node.js or Python-based tools and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenTofu, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps and observability tools like Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
