Description
You will lead a team of 5-6 backend engineers to build and scale backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Mentor a team of engineers and conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards.
- Develop scalable backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Manage databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB with efficient storage and retrieval strategies.
- Implement complex data structures using Neptune and Gremlin and manage Elasticsearch.
- Collaborate with front-end teams, designers, and product managers to align technical delivery with business goals.
Required Skills
- 9+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proven experience in a lead role managing engineering teams.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Expertise in Elasticsearch.
- Experience working with Neptune and Gremlin.
- Knowledge of Loopback, Nestjs, and AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
