Description

You will lead a team of backend engineers to build, scale, and maintain backend systems while mentoring the group and enforcing coding standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a team of 5-6 engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Develop scalable backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Manage databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB with efficient storage strategies.
• Implement complex data structures using Neptune and Gremlin and manage Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with front-end teams and product managers to align technical delivery.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven experience in a lead role managing engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch.
• Experience working with Neptune and Gremlin.
• Knowledge of Loopback, NestJS, and AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
