Description

Lead backend engineering for AI-driven software systems, designing services that power generative AI agents and orchestration logic.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop APIs and backend logic to support real-time AI interactions and LLM orchestration.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS, ensuring security and optimization for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, frontend, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into production applications.
• Maintain production-grade software with strong debugging skills and reliable data model design.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in backend development and building scalable web services.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data model design.
• Experience deploying and managing services on AWS.
• Demonstrated experience in distributed systems and API design.
• Ability to design and implement AI orchestration systems integrating LLMs.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
