Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of data models, ETL processes, and pipelines to support enterprise-scale analytics. You will own the release pipeline, optimize data structures for query performance, and design interactive dashboards for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data models, ETL processes, and pipelines to load data into Snowflake.
• Optimize data structures, storage, and query performance to ensure efficient retrieval of large datasets.
• Design, build, and publish interactive dashboards and standardized reporting for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain data governance standards, including security, quality, and lineage.
• Mentor junior BI developers and provide guidance on industry best practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering of highly scalable data platforms.
• 10+ years of experience building and managing data platforms and ecosystems.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with expertise in database table design and efficient querying.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience in data warehouse and analytics solution design.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, modeling, and physical database tuning.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with query profiling and performance monitoring techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with datasets from Salesforce, Costpoint, Workday, Snaplogic, DBT, or Alteryx.
• Knowledge of distributed computing.
