Key Responsibilities
· Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and Impact analysis of upstream Change.
· Regulatory Focus: Serve as a subject matter expert on liquidity reporting regulations, particularly FR2052a, with a deep understanding of SFT data attributes and reporting logic and other liquidity, regulatory reporting on Capital Markert Data.
· Data Analysis & Validation: Utilize strong SQL skills to perform in-depth data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting data.
· Technical Translation: Translate complex business needs into clear and concise technical specifications, user stories, and functional requirements for the data engineering team.
· Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders (including Finance, Liquidity and Compliance) and the technology team, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
· Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and test cases and actively participate in the testing and validation of new data pipelines and reporting solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), data flow diagrams, and data lineage maps.
· Ad-Hoc Support: Provide analytical support and respond to ad-hoc data queries and analysis requests from business users and regulators.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
· Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, specifically in a Capital Markets or Treasury environment.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience and in-depth understanding of liquidity reporting and regulatory requirements, especially the FR2052a report and SFT (Securities Financing Transactions) reporting.
· SQL Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, analysis, and validation. Must be able to write complex joins, aggregations, and window functions.
· Data Analytics: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze large, complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· SDLC: Experience working within the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment
