Description

Lead C++ development, system architecture, and team direction for business systems within an object/service-oriented environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-team leadership and direction for business system analysis and development.
• Review and approve program and subsystem designs with System Architects.
• Deliver maintenance support and ensure code quality in an object/service-oriented architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Analysts, QA, and PMO to meet rapidly changing deadlines.
• Analyze problems and solve complex technical challenges with minimal guidance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Excellent proficiency in C++ and C++ Templates.
• Strong expertise in Multithreading.
• Proficiency in Relational DB principles using SQL.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing.
• Knowledge of AMQ and Oracle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Securities, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Experience with Java IDE (IntelliJ IDEA), Unix/Linux, XML, Web Services, JDBC, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and issue management systems.
