Description

You will lead the modernization of a critical application currently running on Solaris 10, migrating it to RHEL 9.4 and upgrading the codebase from C to C++20.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the re-platforming effort to migrate the operating system from Solaris 10 to RHEL 9.4.
• Upgrade the existing codebase from C to C++20.
• Enhance application performance and security features during the migration.
• Implement modern development and deployment practices.
• Document the migration process, configurations, and system changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application modernization, including OS migrations and language upgrades.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Solaris and RHEL.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Any Graduate degree.
• Experience with scripting languages such as bash or Korn shell.
