Description

You will lead the design and evolution of end-to-end GCP architecture, including multi-region, hybrid, and serverless deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, and GitOps practices.
• Lead a team of cloud engineers by conducting design reviews, setting standards, and driving best practices.
• Architect and implement AI/ML pipelines leveraging Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and Dataflow.
• Define and enforce security posture, including IAM, VPC Service Controls, SIEM integration, and compliance frameworks.
• Drive cost optimization, FinOps governance, and SRE practices such as SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of cloud engineering experience with at least 4 years of hands-on GCP.
• Strong proficiency in GCP services: GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Apigee, Anthos.
• Mandatory Terraform skills with Helm and CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, AutoML) and data engineering on GCP.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or Java; familiarity with shell scripting.
• Knowledge of networking (VPC, interconnect, DNS, load balancing) and security hardening on GCP.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Google Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, or ML Engineer certifications.
