Description

Lead technical teams to configure, migrate, and manage cloud environments using OpenShift, PCF, and Kubernetes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute migrations of applications from PCF/TAS to OCP, ensuring seamless transition and high availability.
• Configure, deploy, and manage OCP and Kubernetes environments according to best practices.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to application deployment and platform differences.
• Own CI/CD pipeline processes using tools like Spinnaker, Jenkins, and Harness.
• Mentor engineers on migration challenges, deployment strategies, and containerization best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years focused on OCP configuration management and Kubernetes deployments.
• Extensive experience migrating applications from PCF/TAS to OCP in enterprise environments (Java, .NET).
• In-depth knowledge of migration frameworks such as Konveyor, Move2Kube, and Open Rewrite.
• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Helm charts.
• Experience managing Kubernetes Network Policies and utilizing tools like Kaniko.
• Expertise in Java ecosystem migration and deployment patterns.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and DevOps practices.
