Description

Lead technical design and modernization for large-scale DMV transformation initiatives and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current systems, document workflows, and gather requirements to create functional specifications.
• Design multi-level architecture and component interactions for complex software systems.
• Write, debug, unit test, and integrate code following established technical standards.
• Execute QA and User Acceptance Testing, including developing test cases and comprehensive plans.
• Migrate source code to repositories and manage application publishing across environments.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience making high-level design choices and dictating technical standards.
• 5+ years with COBOL, CICS, JCL, and EZTrieve on z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2 or above.
• 5+ years in Software Design, including program specifications, prototyping, and logical data models.
• 5+ years Business/Systems Analysis using UML tools like Visio or Visual Paradigm.
• 5+ years testing experience, including data and system-level validation.
• 5+ years with DB2 version 10 or above.
• 5+ years debugging experience using CA-InterTest or equivalent.
• 2+ years programming in object-oriented languages (VB, C#, or Java).
• 2+ years consuming and testing web services using tools like SoapUi.
