Description

You will provide Level 3 application support for Cognos BI applications within the Enterprise BI & Analytics team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex production issues independently or through collaboration with infrastructure, ETL, and data teams.
• Perform root cause analysis to devise, test, and implement permanent solutions.
• Identify recurring issues and propose automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Document technical procedures to enable knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Assist in the development, testing, and execution of enterprise BI projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BI support or development.
• Strong IBM Cognos Analytics expertise, including Framework Manager, Transformer, Data Modeling, Reports, and Dashboards.
• Solid SQL skills with experience using Oracle.
• Experience with job scheduling using BMC Control-M.
• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell or DOS/batch.
• Experience with incident management, ticket workflows, and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery tools and methodologies, such as Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience or exposure to Planning Analytics or PowerBI.
