Description

You will lead the architecture and administration of the IBM Cognos platform, ensuring system health and performance across hybrid deployments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer, automate, and troubleshoot the Cognos platform using Python and Cognos APIs.
• Monitor usage metrics and system health to optimize performance and plan capacity.
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud deployments on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior team members on platform operations and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (V12+).
• Hands-on experience with Cognos Administration.
• Strong database knowledge across Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting.
• Experience with Python for automation.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud deployment strategies.
