Description

You will design and govern the Cognos platform infrastructure, overseeing administration, automation, and troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cognos platform administration, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Automate monitoring and usage metrics using Python and Cognos APIs.
• Support hybrid/multi-cloud deployments on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Plan capacity, optimize performance, and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IBM Cognos Analytics (V12+) experience.
• Strong database knowledge including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Cognos Administration.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong SQL proficiency across various database types.
