Description

Lead global SAP technical architecture and ABAP development for S/4HANA rollouts, ensuring clean core principles and scalable design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern SAP technical architecture for global template rollouts, establishing ABAP standards and reusable frameworks.
• Lead complex ABAP developments including RICEFW objects, enhancements, OData services, and SAP Fiori integrations.
• Drive code remediation, optimization, and modernization for S/4HANA compatibility using CDS Views and AMDP.
• Architect integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems using CPI/PI/PO, APIs, IDOCs, and RFCs.
• Enforce transport management, release processes, and quality gates while mentoring technical teams.

Required Skills

• 10–15 years of SAP technical experience with 5+ years in ABAP architecture or technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in Classical and OO ABAP, RICEFW development, and enhancements (BADIs, User Exits).
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, simplification items, and code remediation strategies.
• Proficiency in modern ABAP techniques: CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown strategies.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and OData service development.
• Hands-on experience with integration tools: SAP CPI, PI/PO, IDOCs, ALE, and RFCs.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in 2–3 global SAP rollout/template programs and multi-country deployments.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP for side-by-side extensions and SAP Signavio/Solution Manager for governance.
