Description

You will lead the cybersecurity engineering function, supporting the CIO in planning and executing key security initiatives. You will manage vulnerabilities, security operations, and incident response across the IT team, coordinating closely with IS and IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day security activities and partner with IS and IT teams to ensure operational alignment.
• Monitor security events, logs, and anomalies daily to detect and respond to threats effectively.
• Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC), including the selection and administration of security monitoring tools.
• Report regularly to the CIO on security posture, incident status, and compliance metrics.
• Guide future architecture designs for networks and applications to ensure adequate data capture for security monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.
• Proven experience managing vulnerability assessments and security incident response.
• Strong understanding of SOC operations and security monitoring tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and Information Security (IS) teams.
• Experience advising on network and application architecture for security compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP or CISM certification.
• Experience working directly with CIO-level stakeholders.
