Design and drive the technical strategy for cybersecurity products and system architectures in a financial services context.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical target state for cybersecurity products and lead the execution of the long-term strategy.
• Propose technical approaches to business stakeholders and engineering teams to address current and future security requirements.
• Automate the remediation of recurring security issues within software applications and systems.
• Lead vendor and startup evaluations to assess technical credentials and security design for integration into existing architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Deep expertise in network security and applied cryptography.
• Hands-on experience delivering high-quality threat models.
• Practical experience with cloud-native environments.
• Deep knowledge of software and application security.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies to recommend future-state architectural solutions.
• Proven experience communicating technical security concepts to senior business leaders.
• Formal training or certification in cybersecurity architecture concepts.
