Description

You will own the data platform for a specific business vertical, translating business needs into technical data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary interface with business representatives to capture and translate requirements into actionable data models.
• Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models for business consumption.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement data models and build efficient data flows.
• Optimize database structures using industry best practices and optimization methods.
• Analyze, document, and implement reusable data models for new initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data modeling for large Data Warehouses with multiple sources.
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling principles and methods.
• Hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical modeling using RDBMS, NoSQL, and ETL protocols.
• Proficiency in metadata management and data modeling tools such as ER Studio or Erwin.
• Experience using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to represent insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Professional certification in Data Modeling and Data Analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python or PowerShell scripting for data transformation.
• Experience with Azure components including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Azure Synapse (DWH).
• Azure certifications such as AZ-900, DP-200, or DP-201.
