Description

You will drive the development and implementation of data products for mortgage capital markets applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and customers on full-stack data product implementation.
• Lead data modeling and management for internal platforms.
• Define and maintain derived data layers supporting analytics products on the core data asset platform.
• Identify failure points in data workflows and define mitigation strategies.
• Analyze US mortgage and residential real estate data, including messy geospatial datasets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong exploratory data analysis skills using SQL.
• Proficiency in at least one of R, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL-based analytical tools, specifically Google BigQuery.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and critical thinking for time series data.
• Experience with Git version control in collaborative settings.
• Familiarity with DAG orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience projecting and controlling cloud computing costs for data pipelines.
