Description

You will design business-friendly data models and lead migrations from SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business-friendly data models using industry best practices.
• Lead data migrations from SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments.
• Design reports and performance metrics derived from complex, disparate platforms.
• Manage Power BI datasets, workspaces, and associated security requirements.
• Implement data quality principles across the architecture and warehousing lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an MS SQL Server developer or architect.
• 10+ years of experience with ETL tools including SSIS, ADF, or similar.
• Proven expertise in data modeling and data warehousing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Fabric services and SQL to Fabric migrations.
• Strong proficiency in Power Query (M query language) and DAX.
• Experience using CI/CD and code management tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Power BI Premium, Power BI REST APIs, Python, and Databricks.
• Experience with Azure Risks trading systems or capital markets domain knowledge.
